Puyallup going Digital

The Radio Techs were doing alot of radio checks on various Puyallup police radios the last couple of weeks. Tonight the Radio Techs are doing some testing on Puyallup Fair Com 2 (976) The control channel freq. is 868.500. They are switching from analog to digital and back again. On Digital they were on Tacoma Tac 44816.

I wonder if they will ever figure out that the interference is 15 miles to the north of them? Puyallup is sheilded from it.

What kind of interference ? I usually just listen to Puyallup PD and don't "Search" very often.

The reason these radio techs have been on the air with soo much test 1 2 3 stuff.

Puyallup Digital

It appears that Bonney Lake is going to be digital. They recently joing the 800 svc on Puyallup. I have heard the tech's testing locations and in the evenings it functions as dispatch.
