Currently Q.V. is unable to dispatch Colchester, Salem, Gardeners Lake. Towers must be down from a lightning strike. Station M was asked to dispatch those departments but advised they had no capabilities to dispatch on 33.80. Not sure if they normally are capable of that or not. As I'm posting this, station 28 Colchester is testing tones on 33.80 for those towns. I didn't realize Colchester had dispatching capabilities right from their station. Now tornado warnings are up. Stay safe everyone.

Cool. Good to know. WW was just testing tones on their "backup system". Wonder if they also were having issues.

By "dispatching capabilities" do you mean having the ability to active pagers or just having base radios on those freqs?

Colchester station 28 was actively dispatching with tones to activate pagers if that's what you're asking.
