Does anyone know how to do under deck? The Ship have a lot of steel who block the Radio Signals.

These radios are for intership communications, correct or have they replaced the normal VHF stuff?

Yes for On-Board and short radius around the ship (embarcation ops)

They have been around (UHF) for many many years, now just moving to DMR
