QR DMR network

HI everyone,
I've recently got my hands on a ubcd436pt with a DMR upgrade.
Is it possible to monitor the Queensland Rail DMR network with this unit?
i'm pretty green to the whole world of scanners so forgive my lack of knowledge

It is possible, but the QR DMR system is a Tait Tier III (trunking) so careful programming of the scanner is required to get the most out of it. I would suggest paying for the Butel ARC536 software package, www.butel.nl you will never do it through the scanner's keypad.

I would also suggest searching out a local scanner forum, rather than a US centric/US based one. The Australian information contained herein is grossly incorrect and out of date, not worth even considering.
