Yeah,
Thankfully that all came to nothing.
However, if you happened to be listening to Broadcast FM radio here (like I was at work), we were all driven senseless by warnings of:
"Do not go down to any beach to see if there are large waves coming"

Was watching the live video from the coast guard station and listening to New Zealand public radio network. I could almost smell the ocean breeze lol
Did not find any working scanner feeds from Broadcastify however. ???

This is because New Zealand law prevents radio transmissions on the internet, I wanted to see if I could get permission from FENZ to do public radio steam to Broadcastify, but was given back a very rude reply from there people that manage their radio system. AS for Ambo, they didn't reply to my email.
It is what it is. We can't have nice things due to the law.
