Queensland Police Service - Current Analogue Channels as of Sept 2021

QPS changed form the old 128 channel plan to frequencies in the Harmonious Government Spectrum (HGS) a couple of years back. Most of the state other than, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunny Coast and Toowoomba are on the HGS analogue system. Most use for QPS is above Channel 112 using every 2nd channel but Channel 3 is listed for stations and some other sites. Yet to find out what Channel 3 is for. Some larger town have an addition P25 channel (encrypted I'd say), probably for special ops etc.
Corrections, SES and QFES also have channels in the HGS. I have made a Google Earth file showing the location of all current QPS sites with the channel numbers that refer to the following table.

Hervey Bay has recently changed to 166 analogue which is listed as a Digital Data channel. There is also an end of TX beep now.

Noted today, testing has begun on a number of P25 channels around Hervey Bay and Maryborough (120 & 130). The channels are patched with the analogue channels and at the moment, the P25 is not encrypted, I'm sure that will change once further patching and channels are added. Some units are on the P25 system and the ID shows on my XTS5000. Some numbers come up as unit numbers, some are a bit random. Units patched over just come up as ID: 1

Interesting. I wasn't aware they were transitioning to digital, but its expected. I dare say encryption is coming
