After a lot of head scratching I'm able to record audio from my scanner.
Only problem is that each transmission on a channel is just appended on to the end of the previous one.
I want separate files for each transmission.
The filenames are set to include a timestamp along with other info.
What am I missing?

You need to check the "Each Transmission New Row" checkbox under the "Recorder" tab

If you wish to customize how the files are named, do so via Options > Recorders and locate the "Custom File Name Format" textbox. Refer to custom formatters legend to the right

yea, now we are rocking.
I stumbled across some freqs used by the local AFB on the gunnery range and they are out having fun.
using a Uniden BC125AT
I have a BCD396XT I use sometimes but it's deaf as post.
I have Diamond antennas on both.
Thanks!
now i need fix the file naming but that's easy
