LOVE YOUR SITE!! Anyways, I just got my first scanner in 15 years. I got a great deal on a new BC895XLT. Something weird is up with it that maybe you can help me with. The DATA SKIP key does not work with searches in the 108-137 MHZ range or the 225-400 MHZ range. At first, I thought it was erratic -just some kind of defect, until I did a ton of experimentation. What I found was no matter what low and high frequency I picked in one of those two ranges noted above, the DATA SKIP feature does not work. It works with all others but in those ranges, you get an error beep. Is this a defect or unpurpose. Thanks so much in advance for your help.
