I hope that it is OK to ask about this in this sub-forum topic. I was checking on an area utility (Magnolia Electric) that has licenses in 2 neighboring counties and noticed that 1 is for regular industrial/ business conventional frequencies and the other is for industrial/business trunked frequencies. My question is this, (for those with FCC experience),are the FCC records usually accurate? Could this be a mistake? I am wondering the best way to program this system. So far I have only seen activity when I program it as conventional. By the way, it is a DMR system. The licenses are WQUJ694 and KKB779. The class for the frequencies listed are either FB2 or FB8 which makes me curious as to whether this is maybe 2 separate systems. Any ideas?? Thanks for the input. By the way, I asked about this in this forum because I'm am hoping for advice on how to program this. Not a whole lot of activity on it.

FCC records are only as accurate as the data that was entered into the ULS. I have seen conventional systeme licensed as trunked systems and the other way around.
Without actually monitoring the systems on the two licenses I can't tell what they are doing. It looks like one trunked site and one conventional site.

All I can tell is that KKB779 was probably originally issued in the 1950's and they modified it over the years. WQUJ694 was originally issued in 2014.

WQUJ694 and KKB779 are both licensed for DMR. Go to the frequencies tab and click on Emissions, (7K60FXD/7K60FXE denotes DMR).

WQUJ694 is located at: 755 Hwy 27 North, Tylertown, MS, Walthall County.

KKB779 is used at these three locations:

5.5 MI SW Of Mf Comb MS, Amite County.

Hwy 98, 3 Miles E of McComb, MS Pike County.

Near 3029 Hwy 98 West, Summit, MS Pike County.

I believe you program trunked systems as conventional.

Even with most DMR trunked is trunked and conventional is conventional. There are some single frequency trunked systems out there on on DMR but most motorola DMR will either have a rest channel or a actual control channel.
