Does anyone have a video of some good audio comming from the mscommnet system? Would appreciate it alot, want to hear some so I can make my decision on purchasing a digital scanner.

I might be able to do that for you at some point here, I have some time to myself tomorrow. It does sound good and works well for the most part. My only wish is that I could hear more, I can only really decode the Cook Hill site from where I am. Most of what I hear is Zone 2 Dispatch which is good enough, just to hear what's on the highway right near me.

I see there are several sites around where you are. You'd probably get more Warden traffic than me. I've yet to hear one, some random encrypted and radio technician traffic though. I work in Augusta and listen to the Granite Hill site when I'm up there and it sounds good as well.

I have been listening to them on the region net and I hear anything that talks on 3A and 4A I have listened to the region net for zone 2A and zone 1A when traveling to Portland and it seems to work good, I like the way digital sounds and works that's why I'm looking into getting a digital scanner so I can listen to digital and analog on the same radio.

Really short but traffic is light tonight.

Good video though to show traffic on other talkgroups than the primary zones. I haven't seen them talking on 134 before, it's supposed to be a systemwide management talkgroup so that is kind of weird. Sounded like car to car traffic.

Go figure, right after I posted that it picked up a little bit. I can get some of Zone 2 when I hear it, same audio characteristics however. I seem to have a hard time where I am as I'm in between several tall apartment buildings and there is a ton of RF noise. I believe I'm missing some traffic.

I listen to primary traffic on zone 3A and 4A analog through the region net sites. Looking to try and monitor them digital like you are just zone 3 and 4, and only 1 and 2 when I'm down that way.

I'll post a video on here of some audio from one of my radios on the region net. It's pretty quiet tonight might haft to wait till tommorow to get some action unless something good happens tonight, some nights zone 3 is pretty busy and some nights it's not, but mostly during the day it's fairly busy for the most part.

What does everyone think of this radio it's a MOTOROLA ASTRO SPECTRA PLUS LOADED 146-174 MHz D04KKF9SW4AN VHF P25 TRUNKING!! says it does 9600 baud p25 trunking, analog mode. All I need to do is buy the programming software to get it programmed! Wanted some input on this radio to see if it's any good! Looking to use it in analog mode but also use the p25 trunking to monitor MSP!
