SDS100/SDS200: Question about my SDS 100

I have an SDS 100 that recently stopped charging. I believe it’s a bad charging port as it was intermittent for a while and I could get it to charge by wiggling the charging cord and getting it in the perfect position. Recently it stopped all together I am now using my new sds200, and the 100 is in a box in my garage. I would love to give it to a person who has tech skills and can fix it, and then give it as a gift to bless someone. Anybody out there that will commit to doing this? I’ll send it to you. It’s better than just having it collect dust as it works really well if it’s charged.

Why not pay the flat rate for Uniden to repair it? Repair site states $94.95
