You use the Home Patrol software versus the Sentinel version for the 436/536? (You have the orange shield version)?

I have both and both are updating to 7/24

Something has your stuck at that date.
Like I said once I did the clear user data everything worked fine. May have been some SD card glitch.

MARCS-IP sounded good while in Cincinnati today, what little is in use. I heard traffic on most of the CPD dispatch channels. I actually began receiving them just south of Wilmington.

I also noticed county fire was heard on MARCS-IP with the old TG numbers as well as on the old system. It must be a patch.

Ok, so I am still having some trouble getting a complete favorites list setup. At first I had the "nothing to scan" message and realized I had the site missing.

I think this is right, but if I hit "chan hold" button to see if its actually scanning multiple channels, it seems its stuck on "Area Wide 1" which is the first channel.

Here are some screenshots from Sentinel. I have all service types enabled and am not using location, so it shouldn't be filtering out. It shows its scanning but I am hearing nothing.. So I am not sure if its ever getting past "Area Wide 1"..

Am I missing something?

I don't understand why I need the Marcs group and the Hamilton County..but maybe thats because I need those frequencies on the scanner? (again I'm new to scanning, but technical by day so its making sense..just making sure i understand it all)

Thanks a ton for everyone's patience so far.

You are missing the 2 other systems in Hamilton Co under Marcip

Hamilton County Fire ems

Hamilton Co Law Enforcement

Find those in the complete DB then right click and append to your favorite.

I think the 1st listing is the old system and not used - but that's a guess.

If you press hold when not otherwise receiving a talk group, it is going to hold on the first talk group programmed. You will only hear radio traffic on that one channel.

Hamilton County Law Enforcement is there in the list. (unless you are referring to something else..its right there in the second screenshot (Hamilton County Law Enforcement (31) )

Hamilton County Fire EMS is in another favorite..
