Question about Povoice ?

Hello everyone i just have a question could there still be provoice frequencies in my area? i know it's being phased out and there use to be some provoice on the radio reference database not to long ago in my area but it's since been removed but i was just wondering could there still be frequencies that are provoice and it's just not in the database anymore? i found one frequency on dsdplus that says provoice but just wondering what the chances were that i'm missing stuff on my 436hp by not getting the provoice upgrade. Thanks

Not seeing any Provoice in your local area.

Most likely upgraded to a radio system that's modern, plus still supported by the radio manufacturer.

Look up the freq in the database search and or the fcc search and see who it belongs to. With Provoice being pretty much dead, chances of missing out on that upgrade are slim to none.

There are only about 20 documented PV systems still online. Several are slated for future replacement so that number will only dwindle. None of them are in or anywhere near Virginia

i found one frequency on dsdplus that says provoice

Could have been a false positive. Was the decode weak?

I believe it already has and is down to 8. Post 3 is all I found, but I was not yet awake.
