i am thinking of buying the pv-7 multiband vertical for my kenwood 450s as my antenna so i can take it down and lock it in my shed or put it in my room when i am not using it because i don't really trust my some people in my area to put up a more perniment antenna so i was wondering if any one can tell me if this antenna would meet my needs and would work with my kenwood ts-450s or what do you guys recommend for a antenna

Just from reading the information I could quickly find, I would have to say that this thing is a sort of 'delicate' antenna. It's also purported to be a QRP antenna and has to be beefed up to handle 100 watts. So, would that fit your needs, or not?
Just from the pictures, I would say it's very close to a loaded mobile antenna. I didn't see anything mentioned about what would be good for that antenna's 'other half', the counterpoise/ground/etc.
I'm afraid I wouldn't have a use for it, too many other possibilities. If you don't have those possibilities then it may work for you.
