So, I'm doing research for my next story and I did a search for what the SDPD K9 call signs might be and came across some information in a thread from last year:

"3 digit units are patrol in the field divisions (such as Northern and Northwestern).
Unit number is a beat within the area. Suffix letter is type of unit and shift.

4 digit units are citywide (29xx Nora units are K-9s, for example)."

Can anyone tell me...do all K9 units start with the numbers 29?
