Question about the Columbus Regional Airport Auth...

I noticed that they have back up talk groups now listed on MARCS. Are they the same agency as CMH police and fire that primarily operate off the FCCA system? Or are they a different agency entirely and if so what are their primary operating frequencies?

Airport authority primary is on the FCCA system. I don't personally know if they have upgraded radios yet for MARCS. I do have knowledge some departments on FCCA are buying radios that will work on MARCS, including the city of Columbus has installed radios in the new rescues, hazmat that are capable of being used anywhere in the united states ( HSA) monies were used to purchase those vehicles and they are subject to being used nationwide if needed by the federal govt.

It's quite possible. I know they are starting to get Motorola XTS 5000's in.
