BC75XLT: Question about Uniden Bearcat BC75XLT

Hi new to the forums, have a RadioShack Pro-97 and just ordered a bearcat bc75xlt I can't find out anywhere if this scanner does PL tones if anyone could answer that for me that would be awesome.

It's a good little scanner, but it will not do PL tones. This link has info on the model and a link at the bottom for the owners manual.

about the tones

they only really help if you have interference from another source.
like if your town was on 155.55 and two counties away were on 155.55 also.
they probably would have different tones and not hear each other and if set, neither would you.
so 155.55 with 67.0 pl will not hear 155.55 with a 123.0 pl.
and to finish it , a regular scanner with 155.55 init would hear both/anything on that frequency.

I suggest going for the BC125 instead. It goes for about the same price, but also includes PL and Mil-Air bands.

Yeah I see I should have but oh well I'm gonna start saving up for a digital scanner here soon some of the channels around me are converting soon.
