Could anyone tell me why when i start adding freq that some will disappear ?

For instance i will have the Freq for Mesquite, Texas loaded on the software and then when i go to add Freq for Irving, Texas the Mesquite, Texas freq disapper and the Irving freq go in the slots were the Mesquite,Tx ones were.

I use the FIRST TARGET channel but it still removes some of the Mesquite freq.

If this is not the correct place for the post sorry, i didnt know where to post it.

Are you trying to put these frequencies in the same bank? You can't. Irving is an EDACS system, so the frequencies have to be entered in LCN order, and the bank & channels have to be set for EDACS. If you had programmed Mesquite, which is a Motorola Type II system, in the same bank first, you should have set bank & channel slots to Motorola. Perhaps when you flipped to EDACS, it clears them. I don't have the Pro-97, so somebody with that scanner may have a better answer.

As hiegtx said, you can't put both systems in the same bank. But, it sounds like you're not changing the "Target bank" in Win97's "Web Import Settings" dialog. It always defauts to 0 (zero). When you click the "IMPORT THIS SYSTEM" button, you have to explicitly set the target bank. Otherwise, the EDACS frequencies will likely overwrite the previously-imported Motorola channels (because the EDACS frequencies must be placed in channels corresponding to their LCNs - the "First target channel" setting in Win97 is necessarily ignored for EDACS and LTR).
