Question about WSP Grays Harbor.

SO I just got a TRX-1 and have (I think) programmed correctly... but I only hear dispatch not unit . Any ideas or help would be great.

What do you have programmed?
Conventional, JWIN and WSP 700?
Here is the deal.
WSP is using multiple systems, as far as I can tell, depending on what district/area.
There has been recent discussion about JWIN and changes being/been made.

The coast (Greys Harbor) is part of district 8 (Bremerton).

Conventional:
Washington - WA State Patrol Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

JWIN: (note, JWIN is not listed under Greys Harbor County in RR, however, there are district 8 TGs, so I'd program it - use King Co, or....)
Justice Integrated Wireless Network Trunking System, Various, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies

WSP 700: same as above, there are dist 8 TGs, just not listed under Greys Harbor and I can sometimes pick up D8 traffic off of the Gold Mt site, so there is D8 WSP 700 traffic - use Kinc Co, or...

Just Conventional P25, I disocvered last night that if I am close enough to the unit I can hear them.. I dont know if WSP 700 or JWIN reach the harbor. But I wil try . Thnak you for the help.

That's because the 154.695 PL110.9 is a simplex frequency. It's not a repeater. So you'll have to be within ~5 miles of the mobile units -- obviously depending on their location relative to your location.

PS. I'm not sure if that PL is correct. You'll need to put it on CTCSS SRCH and see if dispatch is using a PL.
