I use the UASD software for the 246T, BCT15, and 996T. Recently the hard drive on my lap top crashed and I lost everything. I kept the database files stored away on an external hard drive but I had to reinstall the UASD software for all three scanners. Since I reinstalled I lost the registration codes I originally had. I called customer service today and they told me that they issue those and then forget about them and have no records. Furthermore they told me that I would have to buy the software again and that there was nothing they could do to help me. (Obviously this is less of a problem for the 996T since that software is free). Does this seem right to you? It seems pretty ridiculous that they wouldn't have a record or if they don't that they wouldn't issue a new number for loyal customers when things like this happen. Anyone else on the forums have this problem?
