Recently, I bought a radio to listen to EBRCS. I decide to listen to PHPD, and it picked up traffic. It has been like that until approximately 2 weeks ago. I turned it on, and saw the PHPD text across the screen but no traffic. Does this mean they are fully TDMA? The radio I have is a FDMA (P1). I did not in fact know that EBRCS was P2 until I was programming it. Now, some do work but there is barely any traffic. Some of these channels are CCSO West and East. Those are the only channels I get traffic from. CCSO Central and PHPD have no traffic, but it still shows up on the display.

Real quick, my XTS 5K is picking up CCSO Central, but its TDMA. Is that normal or out of the ordinary?

Taking a glance at OP25, CCSO Central is currently operating in FDMA as is Martinez. I can assure you this is not normal. Someone has affiliated an FDMA-only radio with those talkgroups recently. They will revert to TDMA operation eventually (hours not days).

Interesting. So another part is that this also happened on PHPD. I'm also assuming that that also happened as usual, my XTS is only FDMA compatible.
Edit: Same thing is happening with MartinezPD.
