Question for the radioshack pro 2055

I just purchased the pro 2055 last week and it works great. However I just got the win 97 and used it. I noticed though that when I received a new id and hit program and trunk, it makes that weird noise on certain frequencies. Before when I hit program,trunk the noise would end. Now it will not. As anyone else encountered this problem. I did notice the thread from years ago when it was having problems. This scanner though is dated 08/07. Feedback would be much appreciated.

I too have a 2055 with the same date code, and have had no problems at all. Maybe you should return it for another unit. -John
