question on programing 2096

I'm trying to prog the federal detention center in colo section it does not give audio in scan it will if I stop on a freq in ,man mode in scan it scans shows id's but no audio. the freq, offset, & step are programmed correct per this site don't get audio on scan

Some scanner users here near Midway Airport in Chicago had the same problem, i think you have to use FUNC3 and choose either "TABLE" or Custom Table and you will hear the audio, hope this helps....

I had the same problem with the Fort Gordon TRS. I had to press PROG, TRUNK, press the MODE key to select MOTOROLA, FUNC 4, and then press the UP or DOWN arrow keys to select Multi Table.

This is for a 9600 baud system though so your mileage may vary. If you're on a 3600 baud system follow the same steps but press FUNC 3 to access the 3600 baud section. I found that I had to play around with the different tables to get it to work properly.

tried going into func 3 and tried each item nothing turnned on the audio. when the poster said play around with tables can you explain?

The site is working now went in prog then trunk then func4 up dn arrow to table then ent now scaning just fine thanks for the help
