Question on programming Lawton Trunked Systems.

I have a BCT-15 scanner and I can't get it to pick up the Lawton Area Trunked systems:

I have done everything the manual says to do but i just can't get it to work in my area. I know its not because there traffic on it but i can't get it to work I was hoping someone could help me with this I would appreciate it.

Is it tracking the system at all? You should be able to hear a control channel on one of the following frequencies (the rest are for voice)

856.71250 857.71250 858.71250 859.71250 860.71250 866.48750 868.28750 868.51250

yea one is a constant noise. the rest are voice channels

Hmm.. well If it's locking on the control channel and trunk tracking, maybe it's just not that busy?

Did you program it with a computer or by hand?

When you programmed it, did you set up a new system and make it a Motorola Type II system? Do you hear the control channel noise while scanning, or only when you hit "HOLD"?

Walk me through the steps you used to program it so far. Perhaps we can help then!

I've got that system programmed in and it works fine for me clear up in Elk City. what kind of radio do you have? I can zip you a copy of my file.
