Hi
I saw they updated the frequencies for this. Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference I was wondering what Districts I live near and maybe I can hear from my house? I live in Easton,PA plus I have this WBD-40 Discone Base Antenna so I can hear things a lot farther away. So I hope to get a little feed back. Thanks so much!
Here are the districts. Department of Conservation and Natural Resources In general, they are still on VHF, so you can usually here all districts which border on the one in which you live. Also program the Secondary for your districts, TAC, and Air Water tanker frequencies. The recent changes mostly showed where previous Base stations became repeaters. There are still http://forums.radioreference.com/pe...s-dcnr-radio-network-upgrade.html#post1249846 expected, but program the VHF and you will here some activity...much more in the spring, which is the highest forest fire season.

I just tweaked the listings so they made more sense. I also deleted reference to a frequency used by DEP since any radio traffic for DEP should be on 800 now with the exception of air to ground spraying ops that use the DCNR tactical air/ground freqs.

The frequency info will all be changing later this year anyway when the VHF/800 upgrade project is completed. From Easton, I would expect you to only be able to hear the District 17,18,19 frequencies and maybe the District 11 frequencies. 151.445 is used by Jacobsburg State Park north of Easton.
