Yes!
DBPD/FD are on the Volusia County Public Safety system. It is EDACS. All info is on the RR Database

Thank You Everyone !!!

Thank you everyone for answering me !!! I have printed the Volusia County frequencies and talk groups !!! I will be listening upon arrival in Daytona !!! I see that the beach patrols are under Volusia Co. system (seperate from Daytona Beach). Im assuming they are under the "County East" frequencies ??

Will be driving to Key West after Biketoberfest. "Fantasyfest" will be going on there. Last time I programed Key West trunking frequencies in, I heard nothing. Can you give me any special instructions for Key West ? (Monroe County).

There are three systems in Volusia County, the East, West, and Daytona Beach. The Daytona Beach system is rarely used but does come alive during special events such as the races and Biketoberfest.

As far as Monroe County (Key West) they are P25 digital so if your scanner cannot decode these signals you won't hear anything. You need a Pro 106 or Pro 197 from Radio Shack, not sure what models Uniden will work. Here is the info from the database.

Also be aware that unless you have your ham license or meet other exceptions it is illegal to use your scanner while driving.
