Hi
If anyone that can help me with this topic. I own a BCD536HP and I live in Northampton County and I have seen that a few things in Northampton and other counties around me use one of those systems. If I purchase those and then put those frequencies into those systems will I hear the active or no? I also have this antenna for my radio SpectrumForce Wideband Antenna with Mag Mount and BNC | Scanner Master I would like to hear some more stuff with this radio and some of these new systems if I can. Please help if u can thanks.

As long as the transmissions aren't encrypted then yes, you should have no issues picking them up as long as you program them in properly. In the RR database if you see an "E" anywhere in the mode column (for instance "DMRE" or "NXDNE") this would indicate encryption is in use on the frequency and thus, no scanner can decrypt encrypted transmissions, it's illegal. I wouldn't bother purchasing Provoice if you have no intentions in monitoring the Delaware River Port Authority or Lebanon County (I don't believe either can be monitored from Northampton County. I'm certain the DRPA can't), they're the only systems to utilize Provoice in Pennsylvania but only on certain talkgroups, it's a dying mode with only a small amount of systems nationwide still using it. Everyone and their mother uses DMR, NXDN is less common but can still be heard around here
