So I plan to run five or so scanners off one antenna and recently purchased an "Electroline EDA-UG2802 Zero-Loss 8-port CATV Amp-Splitter" used off eBay. The amp comes with the power supply, but not the "Remote Power Inserter". After research, I see the "Remote Power Inserter" is optional but is it something that I should use for my setup? I am assuming I will either plug the power supply directly into the amp or this inserter can be used.
