I would like to listen to scottsdale fire department. but can’t find their channel or frequency. thx for help. if anyone knows.
yes that’s what i was wanted to hear was the dispatching call outsScottsdale FD is dispatched on VHF 154.19 (along with most of the Valley fire departments) and simultaneously on the trunked Regional Wireless Cooperative Phoenix fire dispatch talk group.
After dispatch, fire calls are usually directed to VHF "fireground" frequencies, and medical and other calls are usually transferred to a talkgroup on Regional Wireless Cooperative.
If you just want to hear dispatch, you can hear it on an inexpensive VHF receiver, along with any nearby "fire" calls on VHF fireground frequencies..
However, when there are many incidents in the whole of the Valley, the radio traffic on 154.19 can be virtually continuous and some would say not listenable.
Also try the live audio feeds on Radio Reference, and there is an app for smart phones called "PHX Incident Alert" that is worth a try.yes that’s what i was wanted to hear was the dispatching call outs
