question.......i got couple scanners. but does THIS SCANNER (uniden BEARTRACKER 885 Hybrid Full-Featured CB Radio + Digital TrunkTracking) on the SCREEN show the frequence numbers?? i see 00.0000 for cb freq.

but is there or does it SHOW the 000.0000 freq for scanner frequences anl and dig?

like my old bc355n.....i can see frequences clearly....does this hybid SHOW THE FREQUENCY NUMBERS? thats what stopping me from buying off the bat.

No, it does not display the frequency. It only displays the category the received signal is under.( Police, Ambulance, Fire, DOT, and a fifth, non-selectable, category, Misc.)
It is a basic scanner. It cannot handle simulcast systems either.

It uses only 4 service types: Law Dispatch (Police), Fire Dispatch (Fire), EMS Dispatch (Ambulance), and Public Works (DOT). You will NOT receive any Police, Fire, or EMS Tac frequencies or talkgroups. DISPATCH ONLY!

my 885 does not show all the channel. 2, 4,6 ,8 are missing how do i get these back

If you are missing channels, that sounds like a firmware problem. The only downloads I see from Uniden are the owner's manuals and Update Manager. I don't know if the Update Manager does firmware as well as the database, but it's worth giving it a try.
