Turkey Point is a piece of land that juts out into Ches Bay Eastern shore south of the mouth of the Susquehana river and Elk River in Cecil County across from Aberdeen in Harford county. You have to drive west thru Northeast Maryland to get there.
Home to mostly houses but a State Park also.Park Rangers keep busy there in Spring checking fisherman for illegal Striper fishing keeps.
Very scenic and good spot for shoreline fishing and Marine band scanning and listening to APG radio system.
In April on nice weekends you can almost walk across water boat to boat as they fish the flats for Big Stripers.

Turkey Point is a nickname for the guy with the red and white stripes. There's a kids picture book about him. You see no one knows where he is so the book is called "Where's Turkey Point?!"

In all seriousness how can Turkey Point be in three totally different places?

Metro 174, could you possibly be thinking of Sparrows Point?

Didn't they talk about Tukry Point in that John Hughes movie "Cry-Baby"?? I think Johnny Depp starred...

The hike to the point and back is quite short and worth a trip at most any time of the year. Also a prime location for Hawk watchers.

Checking my map software, I see Turkey Point on the bay in southern AA county; also see Turkey Point in Baltimore County, off of 702 on the river; and the Turkey Point park that was mentioned in northeastern MD. So everyone is right, we all get a free beer on each other. Preferably not spilled on each other.
