Glass mount antennas are just that- mounted on the glass with adhesive. They are not all that difficult to remove. Once you get the hardware off something fingernail polish remover will take the adhesive residue off quite easily.
Use some fish line to cut the antenna from the adhesive. You don't want to pry the antenna or the box off the inside as this could cause the window to break. Just take your time and it should come off with out a problem. Your can use goof off to remove the adhesive. Just don't let it get on the defrost or glass antenna element if the scanner antenna was mounted on the rear windshield.
