Questions...9/11/01 Acars and GA Acars...

My first question is this...

Did anyone have any acars programs running on 9/11/01 and if so do they have a transcript of any and all acars decoded?? Or does anyone know where I can find/lookup acars messages from that day, maybe a internet database or something?

Second question..

How prevalent are acars messages/machines in private or ga aircraft? I'm kinda guessing that very small aircraft probably do not have the machines, but do the bigger private/corp. jets have them?

There are numerous 'e-mail' groups dedicated to ACARS logs so a post to some of those would likely yield a response to your first question.

I know nothing about types of civil aircraft but GA aircraft use ACARS quite extensively. Again a look at the various groups will show plenty of logs for this type of flight.
