Hello
Have the Sigma EUROCOM SE-HF-X80 Vertical antenna mounted on pole next to a Solar panel pole.
Question: By puting antenna next to solar panel pole ,the antenna has it own pole is higher than the solar panel pole ,would the solar panel interfere with antenna signal.
I enclosed picture of solar panel and antenna.
Second question is adding a radials to this vertical antenna would it improve the signal pickup, the picture enclosed has red lines draw around the antenna those red lines plans add on radial.

The Sigma EUROCOM SE-HF-X80 is similar to a Comet CHH-250B and others, probably using a 5:1 balun at the base. Adding ground radials should improve its efficiency which is pretty grim to start with. Solar panels don't make any noise but some charge controllers can. What type of charge controller do you have and where is it located?
