Questions on BCd396t

Hi to the group. I'm blind and I'm thinking about buying a bcd396t scanner.
Are there any blind people on this list using this scanner? If so, I'd like to know
how accessible it is. also have you used the programming software? Is it speech
friendly?

Normally I would move this thread to the Uniden forum; however, since the software question part of it actually would be useful for the general population, I am going to leave it here in the General Scanning Forum.

I think it might also be informative to hear opinions on other scanners which may be easy or hard to use by the visually impaired (I followed your thread on the yahoo group.)
