I neglected to place Quick Keys in 3 of my 4 systems [groups are done] before importing my data from RR.

Attempting to add a QK to the first system after-the-fact, brought up the following: "Changing this will affect the quick keys of all sites under this system. Do you wish to continue?"

How, specifically, does adding a QK after programming a system alter all the sites under it?

Many thanks everyone!

Alain

Unless you duplicate the quick key values you should be ok.

I presume that is what the warning is about, though I admit, I have and use freescan and don't remember seeing such a message.

without the system quick keys, you will have nothing to scan, Before hand, if you are settting up a system in Freescan, say you have 3 towers or sites in the system, if you set up a system quick key, through Freescan, all the sites or towers will get the same system quick key. If you after the fact, go back top freescan and you create system quick keys, you get the message, it will effect everything. Same result. No big deal.
