Hello all, Having a problem with my BCT15...

I am trying to add trunking systems to it, they will go into the radio just fine, But it will not allow me to select a quick key. This happens when I manually add them to the scanner, and when I use bctool.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Or is it an issue with the radio?

When you attempt to change it manually, what does it do?

On bcTool go to the Trunk Sites and assign the quick key there, and that will be the system quick key.

On the BCD996T/BCT15, SQK means System/Site/Search Quick Key (good thing they all start with "S").

For trunking types that support multi-site, the SQK is a Site Quick Key and is assigned at the Site leve.

For conventional and other trunking types, the SQK is a System Quick Key.

For Custom and Service Searches SQK = Search Quick Key.
