I may have, or have not, found a frequency for lone workers who don't have the best job therefor they carry radios that are LRRP. That works fine and I may, or may not, be able to see their positions on a map. LRRP; Tgt=*** Src=*** 50.***** 1.8****. ETC. There is another frequency that doesn't seem to use it but, every now and again I may or may not get "LRRP Control ACK; Tgt=*** SRC = *** but there is no location reference. Could they be transmitting their actual grid reference another way?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

If there's an ack transmitted then it has received the info on that channel. There's no need to repeat the LRRP info out on TX if there's no one who needs it, like a mobile station connected to a map plotting function. If the info goes by wire or microwave link to a center then the mobiles LRRP data doesn't have to go out on the repeater. It could also be encrypted.
