Quick Question

I was wanting to get this antenna http://www.tessco.com/products/displaySkus.do?groupId=360&subgroupId=45 it is the fourth one over, with the motorola Type trunk mount, but I am alittle confussed about how I would hook it up to my scanner since I cant find one with a BNC connector. DOes anyone have any ideas or sugesstions.

Call their 800 toll free number when you order and ask if you can
also order an appropriate BNC connector already attached to the co-ax.

I'm sure they would oblige your request.

If not, buy a connector that you can crimp or twist on by yourself.

I believe they are talking about the NMO style of mount.

The link you provided just showed the antenna, you have to buy whatever type of mount you need. If you look at the link I pasted you will see they make all different kinds. What you need depends on your situation.

It doesn't look like they offer BNC connectors as an option at the radio end but you could always get an adapter for one, or get one with no connector and install one. I would suggest a TNC or Mini UHF then adapt it to BNC. I've found the TNC to BNC adapters to be the most reliable.
