Ok, I'm pretty sure I have the answer, but can I plug this adapter in the computer inline jack and then isolate two different scanners audio one on the left and the other on the right?

Also have the output on the same way, one on the left and the other on the right?

I'm pretty sure it's a yes, but thought I'd double check.
Based on the information on the website, it looks to me that the answer would be no. The description says it’s to allow two headsets to share a stereo output signal, not separate them into left and right channels.

I’m using my phone, not my laptop right now, so it’s harder to search easily

I tried a search: stereo left and right channel splitter

And the item below came up. I’m not familiar with that seller, but that appears to be what it sounds like what you are looking for. See how that black connector is labeled “tip”? That should be one channel, the other should be for that small collar between the tip and the ‘ ground’ connection
