i'm thinking of buying the pro-2055 with th dcs option can i use this for digtal tgid or do i have to have the pro-96 pro-2096 any help would be apreciated

No, the PRO-2055 is ANALOG ONLY, no digital.

i went to radio shack and asked them if the 2055 was digital capible they told me it was but i have been reading and i didn't think it wAS but any way thanks foir the help

I hope they are just confusing the model numbers because the 2096 is digital, but the 2055 is analog only. I'm actually suprised at the Radio Shacks here in central Ohio, they know their scanners pretty well.
