I have not had the opportunity to examine all the Viper/Lo Band posts here.
I will (eventually) However, I am driving to Florida on Wednesday of this week.

I have been travelling I-95 for 13 years---are the frequencies I have still good?
Thanks
Dic

Along I-95 in North Carolina, it will depend on where you are.

NCHP is in a state of transition, so you will find some troopers on low band, some on Viper / 800 MHz., and some on a local agency's trunked system.

And, just because you might hear NCHP dispatch on low band, that doesn't mean the trooper will reply on low band. The trooper might be replying on 800 Mhz.

Add to that the Viper data network, which has greatly reduced the amount of voice communications in some areas.
