I have an Icom R20 receiver coming as part of a trade.

What is the current value on the used market for an unblocked R20?

They hold their value very well. I rarely see them sell for less than $400 used. They are around $500 to $600 new. Blocked version sells for around $500 while unblocked around $575 new.

I still have mine, but almost never use it. It's one of those radios that tries to be all things to all hobbyists, in a Swiss Amy knife kind of way. Most people have a dedicated shortwave receiver for HF, and specific VHF/UHF scanners for that end of the spectrum. The TV audio receive ability is now completely useless in the R20, since the DTV transition. I recommend the ARC20 software, if you plan to program it. Doing so from the front panel is frustratingly difficult.

I will more than likely sell this one and just keep my Yupiteru MVT-7100.
It will probably be up for sale or trade very soon.
