R2500 software

Hi , have got a R2500 with P25 module using Icom software is there any special settings required for trunking or P25 reception , am using Radio Reference frequencies for NSW Australia locations but not receiving anything... my Uniden 996T does ?

The Icom R2500 Software will not trunk track. Also, the UT-122 will have some issues with Simulcast P25 on a Trunked environment.

With that said, you can download TrunkPCR which will allow you to trunk track, assuming the system is not a simulcast P25 system. With TrunkPCR, I can track 400, 500 and 800 Mhz trunked analog and P25 systems, but the P25 audio is simply junk on simulcast towers.
