R8600 edge scan

Hello all,

I configured an edge scan on the R8600, as it should the scan loops between the lower and upper frequencies configured in the edge scan. Now if i manually stop the scan and start tuning using the tuning knob, it does not cycle between the lower and upper frequencies. If i tune up it pass the upper frequency and if i tune down it will go past the lower frequency. Is there a way to prevent this ?

I don't think there is any way to limit the VFO tuning knob to stay within set limits (although I like the idea). I'm pretty sure it is just a scan function.

Probably, i checked my R30 and it behaves the same way.
