Rabun County NXDN

I have a caller who said that the Sheriff and some of the city police agencies have switched to NXDN in the last week or so. Does anyone have confirmation on this and perhaps some RAN codes?

Any new information on Rabun County using NXDN? I rode over to the county line of Towns & Rabun on two different days and got no traffic. I checked The Broadcastify feed but it seems to be down. Cracks and pops every so often. Reported.

Looks like the Broadcastify feed is working again but the feed does not decode digital.

Most agencies are running mixed mode, I think LE is running mostly digital. Been a while since I’ve listened to anything there or talked to anyone about it. I know they’re very slowly migrating. I believe encryption is being used or is planned to be used at least for schools and LE

I was in Rabun County today and 155.130 Sheriff Dispatch was digital NXDN with RAN 36. Fire and EMS were still analog.

I was in Rabun County again last night and 150.995 Sky Valley Police Dispatch was also digital NXDN with RAN 36.

I saw that the RRDB was updated to reflect what you observed. Interesting that the license is for analog only.
