Rabun County, Mtn. City PD

Put in the updated frequencies for Rabun County into my 106. Had 154.65 as the new Mtn. City PD frequency. Last trip didn't hear anything on the old one. Had the scanner set up in tone search. Got a hit on a DPL of 054. Just wondered if anyone in that area can cofirm it was Mtn. City. I know that it is a TAC channel for the county, as well as, some other cities in Rabun. Did get a lot of activity on all the newer frequencies.

No, they have more than one And they like to think that they are sneaky hiding in parking lots. The big VHF antenna gives them away And the fact they are plain vanilla white.

We go thru Mtn City a good bit and they pride themselves on their traffic enforcement. 154.650 used to be used by both Dillard and Mtn City but recently, Dillard has a new repeated VHF frequency for PD dispatch (see RR database). Be sure and watch out for the Dillard PD as well.
