I will get my master list together and PM it to you to make the list more accurate, would that be fine?

Made some major changes to the Wiki with much more to come. Let me know if you find any errors.

Adam K.....Is it possible for you to identify each system and site by city for us beginners?
For example.....System D Site 13.....Dubuque?

Thank you for all the good work!

DB updated for Cascade site. Site ID is 27. I will let Adam take care of updating the Wiki.

I monitored the site for almost a half hour and got 4 LCN's, no others showed up, but the 4 I got are all confirmed. Site is licensed for 8 frequencies.

According to RACOM's map, Cedar Rapids - South, is a System G. The system G info in the Wiki doesn't match the database for Cedar Rapids - South. I'm monitoring the South site now for Cedar Rapids, it is tracking right and I'm hearing traffic based on the databases info. CC is 858.1625 at time of this posting.

OK ill take a look, I made a booboo last week when i posted System C so im sure i made some more!

Thanks for lettin me know.

EDIT: Yep, simple mistake of moving everything down 2 rows by accident, been sorted. BTW the database seems to have a glitch with CR S, the LCN fields are showing up twice?

Thanks again!

Thanks for fixing it. I got the DB updated with the CR - South site, double LCN thingy.

What is the story with the Redfield site? DB shows a site, but RACOM doesn't. Future site???

Yep, if you check old maps, Redfield was shown right in the middle of that 'pending construction' bubble west of Des Moines, but in the recent maps it is gone again. They filed for a license for the site at the same time as the others so either they took the site down for one reason or another or its a private site not meant to be available to all customers. I have been over that way on my trips around the state and never been able to pick anything up so i think it legitimately doesnt exist yet. There is also another site in the FCC licenses that doesnt exist, Prairie City, which is just East of Des Moines. I would assume it is for the Mitchellville prison, as its just outside of town there. No new CC's on the air yet as of this morning.

Thanks

Got another one for you, System L in the Wiki doesn't match the Bettendorf site in the database.

FWIW, I'm not looking through this stuff for typo's. I'm re-programming/updating my mobile 996xt to get it up to date on this RACOM stuff, that is how I'm coming across this stuff.

Not a problem, i dont have access to any of the sites for error-checking so im glad someone is!! Ill take a look, what isn't jiving?

Edit: HMMM this is a head-scratcher. The LCN order lines up great except for LCN 7. Which is weird because System G (Clinton, which is right next door) Is using the same freq for its LCN 7. Is it possible that the listener heard Clinton and mistook it for Bettendorf on that one freq? To me, it should follow the LCN that was in the Wiki, which would be:
7. 854.6875
8. 855.6875

For what its worth, Bettendorf is not licensed for 854.1625, and Clinton is.

I'm almost certain I verified Bettendorf a couple months back when I was staying in Rock Island. I would have did this on a handheld, so doubtful I would have heard Clinton anyways. I will go with what stands until maybe someone can confirm???

Sounds good, i adjusted the Wiki. Weirder things have happened, just when you get them figured out they have some oddball system that flys in the face of all the other patterns! Thanks for all the hard work Tim, without people in the field verifying this stuff its kinda guesswork. You dont happen to be in range of DBQ 2 do you?

Unfortunately I'm not. I hope to make a trip East along I-80 to the Quads, then North up to Dubuque and verify/check the sites.
