RACOM Dixon site, System O isn't even close to the DB. That one there might just require going to the actual site to get.

Dixon was mistaken for Scott Co Park. The Wiki is the proper LCN for both sites.

Dixon only uses the first 4 LCNs,

System O, Site 4, Dixon:
1. 856.3625
2. 857.3625
3. 858.3625
4. 859.3625

Yep, if you check old maps, Redfield was shown right in the middle of that 'pending construction' bubble west of Des Moines, but in the recent maps it is gone again. They filed for a license for the site at the same time as the others so either they took the site down for one reason or another or its a private site not meant to be available to all customers. I have been over that way on my trips around the state and never been able to pick anything up so i think it legitimately doesnt exist yet. There is also another site in the FCC licenses that doesnt exist, Prairie City, which is just East of Des Moines. I would assume it is for the Mitchellville prison, as its just outside of town there. No new CC's on the air yet as of this morning.

Thanks

Hancock, Iowa is another. Not on the map, but data for it. I even want to say the Hancock site is up and running as of a year ago. Pott county Sheriff used to use RACOM for a car to car channel, or something similar.

Yep same story, not sure why it was removed from the map but as of about 6 months ago it was still live.

Oelwein is a System L. I'm almost certain the DB is correct, however, it doesn't match the Wiki. . . .(Headache)

It doesnt match the Wiki because of the Bettendorf/Clinton LCN 6/7 debacle. There needs to be some major troubleshooting done on System L lol

Edit: looking at the DB closer, the Oelwein site may have either been added with circumstantial info from Bettendorf or the old site was just that close of a match. *looks at notes* Yep, the old system was a very close match, but it has NOT been updated in the RR DB. It should be site 6, not 8. Im trying to find it in my notes where i picked up that site during a band opening and tryin to find out what freq it was.

You might want to try 854.6875 and 855.6875 temporarily for LCN's 6 and 7 to see what happens. If it is actually 854.1625, then we need to figure out which LCN it actually is, 6 or 7, because the DB conflicts itself there.

Welcome to my nightmare of figuring this stuff out!!

In the DB, if you make id 1504 into Dixon and make 1502 into the new Scott County Park, you'd be accurate then.

I was able to visit 8 sites today.

Wilton Site #15 - Added LCN 7, totally a new site to the DB

Scott County Park Site #2 - LCNs 3,18,22,23,24 were active

Walcott Site - No tower at this location. There is a Walcott water tower at this location. I would assume if antenna's were installed, it would be on the water tower. No hits on any frequencies licensed to this site.

Bettendorf Site #6 - The DB is correct! However, after monitoring 600 transmissions, LCN 12 and 17 popped up. I wasn't going to stick around for another 600 so LCN 12 and 17 are un-confirmed for this site.

Davenport Site #1 - No LCN 2, at least while I was monitoring. DB is correct.

Dixon Site #4 - DB is accurate

Le Claire Site #9 - Added LCN 1,3,4

Clinton Site #9 - Updated DB, LCN 16 was real active, wasn't able to confirm to it however.

I just heard on one of the PCSO talkgroups that the Polk radios were serviced by RACOM, so it's my closest guess that they are preparing for rebanding. They also said something about scanlists being changed, messing up some of the deputies.

Yep, they are in the middle of re-programming all of the radios. They had some major issues this morning after the storms, both Des Moines and Pleasant Hill sites went down then came back in failsoft causing major disruptions. They fixed it very quickly so props to racom on that one.

Havent heard about the scan list change but makes me wonder what channels they are adding/removing.

There is a problem with 1602 Allison [Butler IA] in the database. Channels 01 and 04 are the same.

05 860.13750 06 861.13750 07 854.13750 15 854.63750
