RACOM System

There has been some discussion of a RACOM site. Previous lists have shown it to be:

861.5625 LCN 1

862.5625 LCN 2

863.5625 LCN 3

864.5625 LCN 4

865.5625 LCN 5

Now, however, it appears as if the control channel is on LCN 5. I have only heard voice on LCN 1. Someone has tried Etrunk and indicated that this is now a three channel system with LCNs 1, 3, and 5. Nothing has been heard on the previous LCNs 2, 3, or 4. What will be the best way to determine what LCN 3 is? I really haven't had much luck with the FCC database for RACOM. Also, will LCN 3 have to be between 861.5625 and 865.5625, or could it be anywhere in the 800 mHz band?

were is the site?? and do you know the site number??
if you run etrunk it will tell you
lcn in hec format 0x001 ect... then all you have to do i search scan to find it and for some odd reson they skip lcn ch's some times

Vhf & Racom

Is VHF 450-460 or 800MHz because in a few counties in tonights paper Royal, NE is getting a new comm ctr and RACOM is building the system . The paper reads in will elimante the 39.000MHz and a replace it w/ a VHF system. & they said a few cites , including Madison will be on a VHF system starting sometime early '07. And will my PRO92 scanner pick up tat type of system.
